As a result, several immunoassay methods including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) [16,17], fluorescence immunoassay [18,19], chemiluminescence immunoassay [20], radioimmunoassay [21], electrophoretic immunoassay [22], mass spectrometric immunoassay [23,24], and polymerase chain reaction assay [25] have been tested on the clinical serum sample analysis. Among variety of immunoassay techniques, electrochemical immunoassays have emerged as an excellent platform for tumor marker detection owing the advantages such as high sensitivity with antibody labeling, low cost, simple instrumentation, and easy portability.
